Position Overview: We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Veterinary Assistant or Veterinary Technician to join our team full-time. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animal care, strong communication skills, and a commitment to supporting both patients and their owners throughout their veterinary experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist veterinarians in examinations, treatments, and surgical procedures
• Provide nursing care, including administering medications and monitoring patients
• Perform laboratory tests and diagnostics
• Handle and restrain animals safely and compassionately
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of treatment areas and equipment
• Educate pet owners on proper care and post-treatment instructions

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma
• Previous experience in a veterinary setting preferred
• Veterinary Technician Certification (RVT, CVT, or LVT) is a plus but not required
• Ability to handle animals of various species safely
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Compassionate and patient demeanor
