Position Overview: We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Veterinary Assistant or Veterinary Technician to join our team full-time. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist veterinarians in examinations, treatments, and surgical procedures
- Provide nursing care, including administering medications and monitoring patients
- Perform laboratory tests and diagnostics
- Handle and restrain animals safely and compassionately
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of treatment areas and equipment
- Educate pet owners on proper care and post-treatment instructions
- High School Diploma
- Previous experience in a veterinary setting preferred
- Veterinary Technician Certification (RVT, CVT, or LVT) is a plus but not required
- Ability to handle animals of various species safely
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
